I want to thank all of you for your very informative advice over the past year. You seldom saw my name here, but I read all of the comments daily; many of which were germane to my wife´s case. With your sagious advice, we were able, FINALLY, to obtain a pr for my wife. Next month, we will head to Canada and see what life has in store for us there. I simply want to tell you that your comments, advive, and sometimes humorous sarcasm has been a tremendous help for us while navigating the immigration process. Although we participated little, we appreciated greatly. Many many thanks

Well good luck on your success... But be realistic and don´t expect much in store in canada. These days the stores are pretty much empty, to say the least. Hope you are bringing a sack of cash to survive on.

Okay I need my glasses changed I was just in a mall and I saw all kinds of things to buy.........then maybe your the one adviser that need glasses.

You´re silly adviser do you really think foreigners think our stores are empty just before the Holidays. This is not the former Soviet Union were people had to line up to buy anything because the citizens of USSR had the best life.

Thanks for the kind words (Paul) and I´m really happy you enjoyed the sarcasm - sometimes.

It is real hard (not to put a chuckle) into the sarcasm when Trolls want people to think that stores in Canada, a G8 country are empty just before the Holiday Season.

Can we assume he got a lump of coal from Santa?

ummmm I think Paul was using the word store as a verb and it has nothing to do with retail.

Paul, I am glad we could help in some small way. Immigration can be a very lonely road at times and these forums help just a little to share with people the struggles and triumphs.

Thank you for taking a minute to check in at the end of your journey. It makes our small efforts feel worthwhile.

I am sure that advisor was trying to be smart--and is probably hurting from the recession--but if you are a hard worker and don´t give up easily then you will find employment and the good life will follow--just don´t try to live beyond your means--there are cheaper places to rent that are not dives--and there are cheaper places to shop that have adequate stuff as well--(thrift store for eg.)
