I am very clear about the difference between complaint and sue. Your arrogance speaks volumes.

I use the word sue because that is your best option to bring attention to his apparent bad service. in your mind, you have been damaged - correct? The law society is not about to sanction your lawyer for nebulous crimes that may or may not be attributed to your lawyers conduct, especially when that same lawyer was engaged by you after soliciting references. Small Claims Court to get a refund - that is about it and don´t hold out hope that you will win or be able to collect. I am holding a small claims judgement for $3,500 that I have been attempting to collect for 18 months.

What I don´t understand is how William can´t find how to complain!

He knows which Province his Lawyer is currently working since he should of retained him in that city and confirmed that he is an Authorized Representative by checking that Provinces Law Society registry.

On each Provincial Law Societies web site there is information on how to file a complaint against a Lawyer.

What baffles me is his comment that the Lawyer signed an agreement to reply to questions within five days.

Do not Lawyers take vacations?
Lawyers never get sick!

Well if the Lawyer signed this agreement and it is worded exactly as William says he/she will not be in business long or William is his only client.
