| Subject: AiNP for U.S. H1B visa holder - settlement funds? |

I am currenlty working my way through the application forms for the Alberta Nomination Program for U.S. H1 visa holders and the federal application for Permanent Residence. It looks to me that in the case of a provincial nominee (granted that I could get the nomination from Alberta), the funds needed to settle in Canada can include cash AND any property owned (taken from the Guide for provincial nominees IMM P7000)? Is that correct? I would appreciate your input if anyone has had any experience with this. Thanks!
