Subject: working permit expired
  Dear Sir/Madam,

Please advise what the best thing for me to do? I am a foreign worker at the hotel in Alberta. My employer promised us to look after our working permit for extension. My work permit expired in April, 2010 because of the long wait and not knowing and be familiar my employer don´t know what to do so my working permit expired by now, August. As far as I know, everyone who went back home to country of origin, we have a difficulties and most 98% cannot come back to Canada to work. Why? It is not my fault why my working permit expired. I know I am responsible and adult. By trusting my employer I cannot push my employer everyday. How is my working permit? I just find out that my LMO has been refused because the employer did not submit the proper documentation. Please advise, your very best. I want to go back and have an assurance that I am coming back to work in Canada. I quit my job in Philippines to seek a better future for my family.

Thank you.

Well if your boss did not do his part and you LMO has been refused you will have to leave and go home as you now have no legal status here.
Ask your boss to try again to sponsor you to work for him.Or find another job that will sponsor you,if you cant do this then you have no choice soon they will send a removal order to you.
