Subject: Arrange Employment and H&C(Concurrent)
Hi all,
What are the implications of applying pr under arrange employment while H&C application is still under process? Does it have adverse effects on H&C application?
Many thanks

I assume your here and have a A25 H&C application for landing from within Canada in the process.

Then you want to seek out an AEO for your occupation so you can go through Sydney, NS CIO with a FSW.

H&C applications are dealt with by CIC.

Arranged Employment Offers are dealt with by Human Resources Skills Development Canada.

Until you submit a FSW application to the CIO no one at CIC will even know you have an H&C application submitted. Your talking about apple´s and orange´s their different even though they are both applications.

Thanks Roy. Yes, I have submitted my H&C application and it´s "IN PROCESS" state. As I have potential job offer, I´m planning to follow FSW route at the same time. That said, I´m kind of wary as to whether this FSW application would effect my H&C application because I´m not sure if my FSW application would get approval. So, obviously, I don´t want to lower the chances of success of my H&C application by submitting FSW.

Anyway, what u mean is, once I send in FSW application to CIO, CIC will be informed of my FSW? Do you think this would effect my H&C? Pardon me if this is silly question cuz I´m quite novice in this regard. And also what is the full form of CIO?

The issue is not the FSW since you have been ordered removed you have to arrange for your removal with CBSA because now the CIO does virtually everything. Then it is sent to your Visa Post for medicals ARC and PPT request.

I don´t know where you got the impression from but I´m not under removal order. My TRV is valid till the mid of 2011.

So you have a TRV and under what terms do you have temporary status?

Why would you submit a H&C application if you received a work permit from a Visa abroad?

You can put makeup on your face and colour everything pretty but your comments are still illogical. This is mid 2010 and you have almost another full year on a work permit and you have already filed an H&C, hmmmmm

Like I´m wrong..... possible but you used the term TRV and hid work permit, student permit etc.

@Roy
No disrespect but you make assumption without telling me what important pieces of information are missing and what I should provide in order to give sound advice. Don´t forget I´m really a novice; so some information may be left out due to lack of proper knowledge as in the case of TRV which I thought is same as visitor visa. I don´t mind giving out more info and I really do appreciate your time and effort. If you find anything illogical and missing information in my explanation, pls do ask instead of making strings of assumptions. Here´s detail explanation of my situation. I hope this would help you to evaluate better -

I came to visit my dad last year with visitor visa. A month after my visit when I was about to leave, he was diagnosed with malignant disease and he wants me to be present while he is fighting this deadly disease because he has no one in Canada. Well, actually, he used to but, he and my mom went into fierce fight and got divorced in the end. My mom went back home as a result. As I wasn´t fond of the job I had at that time, I agree to be with him and, consequently, I went to Immigration lawyer and consult what my options are. I was told that H&C is the best choice and would only take FOUR MONTHS to be processed. So, I took this word and flew back to my home, resigned my job and flew back in. After I submitted my H&C application with the help of this lawyer, to my dismay, I realized I was lied to and found out it takes years to finalize. That´s when I started looking for another options such as arrangement employment. Now, I´m getting a job offer from a company but, my concern is, if this application ever got rejected, will it effect my H&C application? I rather like to get a job cuz I don´t want to see my savings depleted due to no other source of income. And, at the same time, don´t want to abandon my old man. He´s really down and depressed. I´ve extended my visitor visa; that´s why it is still valid till the mid of 2011.
