Subject: Help! friend's TRV application |

Hi. I have a friend who recently received a letter of invitation from the College of Registered Nurses Manitoba for her clinical assessment test on Nov 22-26. Is this letter enough to apply for a TRV or do I still need to send her a letter of invitation? She´s planning to stay with us while she´s here in Canada but the problem is I don´t have any work yet and financially, I can´t support her. She has relatives in Ontario (we´re in Winnipeg) but its too costly if she has to travel back and forth.
Any help on the matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank

(in reply to: Help! friend's TRV application) Here´s my take - TRV form asks where you will be staying when you are in Canada. For that reason, I think it would be helpful for your friend if you write a letter saying that you are happy to let her stay in your place when she is in Canada; Basically this letter is just to reassure visa officer that your friend has place to stay. As you are only letting her to stay and not paying for expenses, I don´t think you need to provide financial statement or prove that you have job. Well, that just my take. I´m not an expert in this but this is just from common sense thinking.
