| Subject: PR spouse application from outside canada |

Hi All,
I´m a british national whose currently based in singapore, i married my canadian girlfriend in canada in 2008, she moved here with me and now wants to move back to canada and wants us to settle there.
I want to know what would be the best place to start, would she have to go back to canada first to start my application or is she able to do that from here and how would we go about that?, actually she´s in canada currently to see her family so would it make it easier if she got the application forms from there and bring em with her?
Any advice is much appreciated

Hi Cameron,
You can start your application process overseas, but your wife has to satisfy the citizenship and immigration canada that she will reside in canada after you become a PR.

I´ve been on the CIC website and been unable to find details where it gives guidlines for a canadian citizen living abroad applying for a PR for spouse from that country,
Can anyone point out where this is so i can start the process rolling -
