i have a pr card which will expire on Jan 2011. i´ve been in Canada Nov 2005 to Feb 2006, then i went back here in the Philippines to finish my studies and take care of my sick grandparents. Now i want to go back in Canada, for good. My dad and sister is now a Canadian citizen. Will the immigration officer allow me to re-enter Canada?

(in reply to: Re-enter Canada with valid PR Card) It seems that you have not fulfilled your residency requirement, living outside Canada more than 730 days in the last 3 years.
I wonder if it´s possible for such a PR to make it into Canada just before PR card ´the entry card´ runs out and restart to live in the country.
I learned that when PR card expires, it doesn´t mean that he or she loses her PR status.
What if I make it to the second base "safe", continue to live in Canada? I don´t travel outside Canada for 5 years.
CBSA is not issue here. Cordially yours,

(in reply to: Re-enter Canada with valid PR Card) If i have not fulfilled my residency requirement, does it mean that I will not be allowed to go back in Canada?
