Worker experience / skilled worker class

Subject: Worker experience / skilled worker class
I´m having a few issues with my personal PR application. I have been working at a legal firm as a law student / legal assistant for about 18 months now. I did the eligibility test for skilled worker and it said something like I may be approved. Looking at the jobs actually listed, I don´t see anything matching my job description, though. For the work experience class I need 2 years work experience. Should I take a chance on the skilled worker program or should I just stick it out for another 6 months and apply through the worker experience class.

Another question: I am working in Manitoba. Is there really a big advantage to applying through the Provincial Nominee Program or should I just apply to the federal program.

Final question: My wife´s dad and his wife sponsored us to come over. From looking at the Family class, it seems married children are specifically excluded from applying under this class. Do i understand it correctly? If I do, does anyone know why this is so or can I rather apply through the family class program?

you are talking about 3 different things here.

1) are you currently part of a family class sponsorship application? if so, you must remain as a student. Family Class takes a long time (when was the application filed?) If you qualify, you might be better off breaking away from the FC and immigrating on your own merits.

2) You are better off with the worker experience class as CIC give preferential treatment to those would demonstrate that they have adapted well to Canada. PNP program is the best way, assuming you want to stay in Manitoba.

Thank you for you time, Sharon. I am actually here on a work permit, but you answered my questions.
