Subject: no proof of genuine intent to be in canada
hello there, I am a canadian citizen who has been working and traveling in New Zealand for the last 3 years, saving money and paying off university debts. I have not been home once the entire time. Just over a year ago I married a girl from the philippines. We both currently have work visas here. It is now our genuine intent to live our lives in Canada. However, we do not have the items that the Canadian immigration website lists as being representative of a "genuine" intent to return to Canada. We are wondering, how would we best proceed with proving in an application, that we have a genuine interest in wanting to return to Canada without having a job offer or property? Thank you very much for any advice. Adam and Abegail.
