Hi my family in the Philippines received a letter for medical request already, but i did not receive any letter for my approval in pricipal( first stage approval) as well as my open work permit under live-in caregiver class here in Canada. Does it mean my OWP will be issued soon? Kindly advise ... Thanks

wait for a week, and then call cic here and inquire about it. or check your ecas- u might find an answer there.:)

OK thanks a lot, i will wait for a week. because I checked my ecas it still says IN PROCESS and the latest is the same under the details. TRANSFERED TO MISSISSAUGA OFFICE

review your papers, then if u find no mistakes, call them.
that happened to me in a diff way.
my spouse´ papers were returned (manila), and they said to mail it to CPC Mississauga. which i didnt do, because i know something is wrong. until they admitted they made a mistake, not keying in my spouse as my dependent.
or maybe they thought i was a PR holder already.
they wasted 8 months for that. i was holding my temper over the phone, when they said i might have done mistake with my papers, and i said i have the copy before me and i cant find any. then they said, oh we made a mistake here...blah blah blah...
worth to cry for.
but now, things are smooth. :)
