$8,500.00 million per year plus!Yet only two tribunal discipline decisions rendered.
I assume I am now allowed to say what I think of the regulatory body! Well where to start.
In six years as the regulator the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants has filed complaint after complaint against me and others for telling the truth. The complaints where for saying that the regulations where not strict enough to prevent non-regulated persons from submitting applications. That anyone could assist as long as they did not intend to represent the client after submitting any application.

It is important to understand that CIC, the IRB and the CBSA are interpreting the Regulations to mean that R13.1(1) does not apply to any representation made to a client before an application is submitted to CIC.
Okay Boo Hoo is me but what about the CSIC Members who seem to be in clear violation by recommending clients should file a refugee claim due to unemployment in their own country. Hundreds of spurous refugee claims filed and not even a slap on the wrist.
The current CEO has sat on the board of directors for six years, was the Chair of the board and is on the board of every other company CSIC created. Imagine a non-profit corporation owning for profit companies that the share holders never see how much they make or spend.
No one has any idea how much was made or paid out to these public interest directors or consultant directors who are suppose to be watching the chickens.
Certain board members are alledged that thy used the complaints and discipline department to personally stifle any disssent.
