Subject: visa duration and location
I sent my medical reports to immigration in oct 2009 and march 2010 got a letter from embassy to submit passport but I didn’t submit again got a reminder letter in which it states that if I didn’t submit my passport my application may be refuse
Just want to clear the situation that if I submit my passport , visa duration will be how much? ( means can I travel in dec 2010 or 2011) I heard its 1 year from medial checkup which means oct 2010 for me .
Is there any possibility so that I delay my visit
Thanks in advance
One more thing I want to ask I submit my application in kuala lumpur (Malaysia) when I was working there.now I moved to Singapore and working here I got the request for passport from Kuala lumpur (Malaysia)
So is there any possibility that I submit my passports in Singapore and get visa from here as its hard for me to visit kuala lampur

normally you get a temp passport from your country (if abroad, through the embassy) if your passport is with some sort of other country due to visa processing. maybe you just get in contact with the institution that issued your passport.

sorry my previous post was referring to another question.
in your case: yes, it´s 12 months after medical. this means you need to activate your visa by ´landing´ in canada with this time. this doesnt mean that you have to live in canada, though.

no you must submit your passport to the visa office that requested it and you better do it soone as they have sent you a second letter soon they will refuse you.
