..I do not know what the matter is with you...but, my experiences as a human being tell me that if a person sounds so negative about about others, for sure there is some kind of dissatisfaction, unhappiness deep inside them seems you are an unhappy lady, wish you some sunshine in your life (hope I am not correct)

For your information for me a family is more important than immigration to Canada, a child´s life is more important than immigration, and personally if I meet anybody who is thinking of divorce, I would recommend those parents, (especially if they have a kid ) rethink and rethink...even a divorce is inevitable they should do their best for their child ....so it is not about asking people to lie, or abuse the system in Canada! ..Please try to change your arragont, and rude attitude!!!!!...I am a guy who lived only with a single mum, and I know the pain....and I asked Fred to come to canada and forget about divorce....and I am not expecting you to understand because you cannot understand!!! The same way you cannot understand whether Fred is a canadian or PR !!!

Let me tell you how negative, and illogical you are... you are saying Fred never mentioned he was a Canadian or PR (your last message) now go back and read Fred´s first message- the beginning of his post and tell me whether Fred is a PR or a citizen ...

Please for gods sake have some reading skills, as an immigrant I feel embarrassed to ask a Canadian to have some reading skills, but sorry I have to ask you ....or put on your glasses when you are reading a post and do not talk for the sake of talking....I know chatting in this site is your way of meeting people and socializing but still learn to have some skills or some manners!!!

god bless you...

Hey, my question about PR or Citizen stands.

All I am suggesting is that telling the truth is the only option here. It has nothing to do with my views on marriage, divorce or family.

I have lots of social life without being here so don´t get too worried about it - ok? I am not the one who is writing nonesense to someone he does not even know at midnight.

Hey I think Fred has been living in Korea to long. Your attitude Hey is too much. God Bless where is your golden rule?

Korea a country where domestic violence is against the Law but rarely, if ever prosecuted.

Korea a country that has convinced women that if their spouse punches them three times in the face it is the womens fault.

Korea a country where it is (NOT) against the Law to Rape your wife.

Is your posting sexist?

When one replies to only one person the answer can be right or wrong but when replying to three or four or a topic (as this crap has become) it is not cut and dried.

Custody is always an issue when sponsoring a child! The biological parent has to approve that the child is allowed to immigrate and the sponsor has to prove they have custody issued from the time of divorce.

When one appears to be using the Immigration process just to get their biological child into this country and do not seem to care about the best interest of the child being seperated from the Mother it leads me to believe something is fishy.

Hey if family is so important why did they split up as a family. I guess Fred does not have your sense of what is correct. Best interst of the child why don´t you read the UN convention on the rights of the child!

So (your a guy) and you asked Fred to come to Canada and live and forget about divorce? Are you the one that ruined the opposite sex relationship and split up these parents?

I´m confused.

Have a great Holiday weekend!

You know it´s funny how this "hey" person seems to think that if Fred is a citizen fraud is ok. So they can´t deport him, but they can throw him in prison for commiting fraud against the government and deport his family, where will that leave his childs emotional health? What´s mom gonna yell him? "sorry you can never see daddy again because we tried to trick the government so now we can never go there and he´s not allowed to leave Canada cuz he´s a criminal"?

I pretty much agree with Hey. the child´s interest should definately be in the focus. In many cases parents in western countries (especially in the US) decide way too early to file for divorce instead of working on to fix their marriage.

@Roy: your description of korea as a barbarian country where women are being surpressed by men is very far from reality. even though your exmaples took place, this does not reflect the majority of law enforcement in korea. even very well developed countries such as germany introduced a law that would protect women from rape in their marriage in 1997 - not so long ago.

Hey guys, of course Roy always tries to make every third world country LOOK TERRIBLE and CANADA looks so HEAVENLY attractive. Otherwise, he can´t make a living!!! Beware of this kind of people, he doesn´t care about you.... all he cares is about getting your money.

LOL

One more thing, Roy doesn´t seem to know WHICH Korea he is talking about and he tends to generalize. The fact is the TWO Korea is very opposite to each other in many ways. One of the Korea is a very developed country. Roy, take Geography 101 please before you say anything.

Pathetic.

Roy,

You are obsessed with Canada, and your obsession seems to be making you blind! ...At least show some respect to others like Koreans, these are the people who give at least 3.500 English teachers (mostly Canadians) in their country... and these Canadians live and work in Canada and they know they cannot never make that money in Canada!!! for example ask Fred what the hell he was doing in Koreafor 10 years, in that shitty country you have just described above!!!!

You do not have to support whatever Sharon says or same for Sharon... You guys are pathetic.!!!

Instead of talking shit as usual why dont you say - hey Sharon - You said Fred did not mention he was Canadian or PR and this guy-hey is asking you to have some reading skills and read Fred´s message and see that indeeed Fred says he is a Canadian citizen ???

Are your eyes and brain are located in somewhere else in your body ? Do you know what I love Canada and some phrases they use in Canada especially when they say ... GET A LIFE ... GET A LIFE ... ..Your life seems to be Sharon ...What about Danish cookies? ...I guess they are sweeter than Sharon ...

if you have been around this forum for any length of time you will know that saying ´I am Canadian´ does not guarantee the author is a citizen and as you know... when it comes to immigration, PR´s and citizens are not totally treated equally. The question is relevantm and my reading skills are fine thank you very much.

The motivation for Fred´s question may be honourable but again, immigration laws prevail and misrepresentation is misrepresentation. I will not encourage someone to lie and have their entire future screwed up - that offers Fred no respect whatsoever.

When you offer advice, think about the consequences before you hit the submit button.

To be frankly, Canada is a shitty country too.... many immigrants have returned to their homeland and even many Canadians left Canada (mainly moved south). Ask some Canadians who work in my country "why didn´t you return to Canada?" Many will answer "No jobs there....I´d prefer to live and work here".
