| Subject: PARENTS SPONSORSHIP-RESUBMIT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS? |

Need clarification if anyone has undergone sponsoring their parents.
I got my whole package back from the mail which i sent last june 2007 (after 35 months)and cic is asking for supporting documents from sponsor(that´s me)to be submitted within 90days to maintain processing priority.
2007 income statements:
-option c
-t1 general, t4/t5
-statement of business activities
-statement of rental income
-evidence of interest income earned
-investment income
-pension income
-special benefits income from HRDC
----------------------------------------
My concern is, I only have my fulltime job and part time job. I made the Lico required salary and was about $100.00 over the bench mark when I submitted my package....
- Should I worry that they are asking me all these investments, pension,and other income which I dont have? Or I should I be fine for as long as I have the salary (t4´s) that´s above the reqd. LICO..? Does it matter that I am just renting an apartment since then and not own a house yet? (I wanted to let them decide when they come..) Or should I invest now and have all these money and income raining like I am the richest person alive? :0
Need advice before I resubmit asap..pls.Thanks a lot..

Hi Juzzmee123,
I have applied for my parents but havent heard back yet as I have applied in August 2007.
First of all, you shouldn´t be lying to Immigration officer as it can go against your application. But now the ball is in their court, you have to send what you have and wait for their answer to you.
I would suggest to be honest going forward if they approve your application.
