Hi, My sister sponsered me and my parents for Canadian immegration and in the forms they have also mentioned that we have to get clearence from FBI as well. But i am not sure if its required for us.
My parents have visited both US and Canada many times on tourist visa, but they never stayed more than six months at a strech. And i have also visited US for 3 weeks on Business visa.
Now do we require FBI clearence or its for people who stayed there for more than 6 months at a strech.
Please suggest.

Its for people who have stayed in any country for 6 or more than 6 months.
