Hopeful that this is a good thing ... but would like to know what others think ...
On March 31 2010, my application (Permanent residence - Family class: Spouses) was transferred from the Buffalo office to the Los Angeles.
Generally my question is how long does the forum participants think my application will take to complete? ....
Some additional facts:
- I have been working in Canada since September 2006 (temporary work permit - on my fourth).
- All known paperwork is turned in (medical exam, FBI report, state reports - criminal record (lack there of) and other documentation.
In addition to a time estimate - I have paid the fee for spouse application - which is obviously completed. As well as the fee for the application.
There is a Right of Permanent Residence Fee ... will paying this fee speed up any part of the process - by not paying the fee will there be some delay prior to getting my Permanent Residence Card?
Finally if there is a delay - is paying the fee in anyway more difficult since my file is outside the boarders of Canada?
