Canada and canadians are boring. They would die before admitting that they are racist and their country has a great deal of underlined racism. Instead they will play Head Games with you calling you negative and trying to deny reality.

I agree because I´ve experienced it myself. Unlike many others who got stuck there, I am lucky to have escaped the ordeal.

Depressing country (in reply to: Depressing Country)
Yeah,

Outrageous how employers treat people here (Cdns and immig alike). I view them (employers) as ill-mannered misers.

If you add the social workers/immigrant assistants who are all too happy to live off your "problems" the picture becomes real bleak (the more "problems" you have the busier they are...See what I mean).

I´m seriously considering leaving and becoming a seasonal resident so I can live here 60 days a year on my own terms not theirs(never thought I would do that after all the money and effort I spent coming here).

The immigration is just a national industry and a very bad joke nothing more. Unless your life is at risk in your country of residence ...Don´t come.

Depressing country (in reply to: Depressing Country)
Probably not one but several...

There are better deals in some corners of Europe or the even the CIS. I have friends who immigrated to Kazakhstan (YES!!! Borat country!!)and who fare better there than they would in say Quebec...

I see many Cdns with university education badly struggling to make ends meet it breaks my heart to see that. Actually Cdns should seriously think about the future of the country and in which direction it should go. Third world-aziation or general improvement of living standards. Medical aid in Cnd doesn´t compare favorably with many post soviet countries...

Also, R you sure you need 250k immig a year???? How will you protect the country´s sovereignty in the future???

Cnds should give themselves time to think about this instead of blindly swallowing the liberal mythology...

I agree (in reply to: Depressing Country)
Immigration is a bussiness to the Country. Myself I am working on leaving. I am tired of de depresion, underlined racism, lack of social life and weather, not to mention the dead end jobs you end up doing. All that kills your spirit little by little.

Kika no one can blame you for that.

I always got good deals abroad and may have become a "fat cat" .

Mind you I haven´t given up on Canada yet. I love the country but can´t stand poverty... I´m running out of money and patience as I find it increasingly difficult to stay here to maintain my PR status while I could make tons of cash elsewhere.

In the end it´s always a personal decision to make I guess
