Subject: Skilled workers and professionals
  Hello,

I am from India, I have completed post graduation in information technology & having 3.3 years of experience as senior web developer.

My wife is completed B.S in biology, she doesn´t have any work experience.

Now I want to migrate in Canada, but i came to know for that i need designation at least manager level. Is it true ?

Please let me know it is very critical for me.

Hi PP,

As per my knowledge, you can apply to Quebec skilled worker class (according to your designation) and then immigrate to Quebec and from there you are free to move anywhere in Canada.

Or

You can take a chance by submitting the application with the same designation to Federal Skilled Worker Class and see at the below mentioned link what is matching with your current job profile. If your current job profile matches with 0213 profile on the below mentioned link thats best you can put in your file.

One more thing I would like to give you advice about your immigration filling purpose, if you or your wife can manage to work on computer and can fill out the forms your self don´t go to Agents they are just taking your money away from you and just putting the papers together in a file which you have given them. You can find all the information about your file from the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

If you need any further guidance just post your question here. I will be more than happy to help.

Hope this will help. Best Luck,

Hi PP,

Quebec Skilled worker class or PNP (Provincial nominee Program)is based on the provincial level job requirements where they might have possibility of job availability matching with your job profile than on federal skilled worker class.

Federal skilled worker class is based on national level job availability which has been posted on the web with the NOC from where you find 0213 almost matching your current job profile.

So making it in simple language Quebec Skilled worker class or PNP is like job availability at the state level (Gujarat, Maharashtra etc..) and Federal Skilled worker class is like job availability at the national level (All over India).

Hope this will help.
Best Luck
N
