Subject: Family Class application
  Hello,
I´m from the netherlands and want to apply for family class immigration. Me and my Canadian girlfriend are together for several years now.
Does anyone know if I am allowed to already move to Canada while the application is still in progress here(Berlin)?
we are aware of the fact I can´t work during that period but at least we´ll be together.

Steven

IT CAN BE DONE WITH COMMON SENSE BUT I SUGGEST YOU SUBMIT AN OUTSIDE OF CANADA SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP AND PLAY HOUSE WHILE IN PROCESS.

Thanks for your answer. That is we want to do. Start the application from the netherlands and then move to Canada.

they will not likely let you in during the application process. Come to Canada for a visit, file your Outland Application from Canada.

Alternatively, if she is a citizen, she can apply from the Netherlands as long as there is clear proof that she is intending to return to Canada as soon as the application completes.

Thanks Sharon,
Do you mean come as a tourist and then not leave?
My girlfriend is Canadian and living there. That´s why I´m investigating the possibilities to be together as soon as possible.Tired of flying back and forward we are... :-)
