Subject: Medicals
I belongs to Mumbai. I applied for Canadian PR. All went good PCC is cleared. They asked for medical clearance. I was in Bangalore so I did my medical there. Now Bangalore´s Doctor has raised a query. I cannot go to Bangalore now due to clash of appointment schedules. Can I do Re-medical at Mumbai being my local town? What are the remedies? Please help.

Hi I belongs to Mumbai...

Use your own brain before asking the question.
How many medical forms did you get? I guess only one for you. Now you already handed it to that doctor....with which document will you go to another doctor?

If there is a query why don´t you solve it by visiting him?
"Clash of appointment schedules"...wow nice explanation..the CIC or the doctor will consider it..you should have 2 months at least and you can manage 2 days out of it. Even if you try to find another doctor probably the case will be more complicated.

Re-medicals (in reply to: Medicals)
I already done Medicals. But I am not satisfied with the query he generated. Moreover I was on tour while I did medicals in Bangalore.i.e. not in my home town ( Mumbai )
What should I do to issue Re-medical forms? If I write to CIC will they close my case?! ( Which I don´t want )

What one can understand from your different posts is there is some problem on your health which can be a base for denial in your understanding. Probably the doctor in Banglaore is bargaining with you, otherwise why he doesn´t forward the medicals to the CIC but asks you? Normally Drs. are required to inform the applicant if there is a serious issue on health (but not bargain). Or he may wants to confirm by second test that there is nothing. ONLY YOU OR THE DOCTOR KNOW WHATS WRONG.

Even if you ask for second medical form...which I think is already complicated...the first doctor will forward the previous form to CIC, which he must if you have paid. Here it seems like you are prepared to lie by saying "oh, I lost my medical form", that is misrepresentation and if known will bar you from applying again for certain time periods and you case case is dismissed.

Remember, doctors are selected by CIC and not like a street doctor in Mumbai who can write anything for you.

If the doctor in Banglaore is not faulty, then there is no meaning to contact CIC. Only contact CIC if you think the doctor had done something wrong.

If the doctor has raised a genuine issue (which I think is the case and probably other would also guess the same, thats why you selected another city to do medicals but now are running away), try to treat that problem. Don´t run away of that doctor. Remember all the CIC affiliated doctors have good relations (in terms of their work) to CIC medical officer and they are always in communication.

Running away will create more problem. CIC may want a second medical to confirm your health status or you can also let them know if it is cured.

Oh
Re-medicals (in reply to: Medicals)
Well I thank you very much for your reply. But the problem is transparent nothing hidden. Neither I got any serious decease nor Doctor´s Problem. But the problem is Bangalore doctor ( who has done medical for me ) has generated a query in which I need to perform certain ODD test which I don´t want. So I wanted to do fresh Re-medical at Mumbai Doctor. Nobody is bargaining with me. But I think I am more physically confident and OK now and hence Mumbai Doctor will not generate any query ( my Hope ) in fresh Re-medical. Thanks again for help and reading my problem.

Hi Anuj,

Issuing of Re-medical is not a problem, but if you were on a tour to Banglore why wouldnt you come back to Mumbai and did the test? If I would be you, I would have done my medicals in Mumbai if I dont want to take any chances.

Hi Oh,

Getting a medical form in India is not a big deal every doctor has one if you forget to bring or misplaced or whatever your excuse is.

Best Luck
N.
