Sponsoring my husband and his medicals expire soon ( Medical tests valid for a year )and we are concerned that if the Visa letter arrives for landing after the Medicals expire, is it true that you must land before medicals expire ?? or once the Sponsoring application is approved then no need to worry about Medicals ??
Also when the Visa letter arrives when do we have to Land in Canada ?? is it within 6 month or within a year ??

You have to land in Canada before the visa that is going to be placed in the passport expires.
Wait for the passport to come back and you´ll have your answer.

visa expiration date is usually linked to the expiration of either medical or criminal background results.

Thanks but i am still confused, i know medical results are valid for 1 year so it should be used during that 1 year validity period which means there should be Acceptance for the Sponsorship Application from CIC before that 1 year validity of the medical expires, otherwise the medical test should be taken again.
What i was told is when the Acceptance for Immigration Visa is issued it doesnot matter if the medical result expires after visa is issued or maybe even criminal background results expire, CIC stamps a date somewhere and landing must be made before that specific given date expires, i like to know that period of time frame given by CIC is it 6 month or 1 year for the landing ??? i may be wrong.
