Hello,
I am on work permit in Canada. I plan to travel to the US, and come back by road to Canada. I do hold valid tourist visa for the US, and work visa (multiple entry) for Canada.
My question is - do I need to carry my work permit also along with the passport when I enter Canada?
For some reason, I cannot find my work permit. May be I misplaced it. And I need to travel to the US for some work.

You got great chance to look for work in the US while you are there... just in case, they refuse entry back you can always return and join the new job.

Hi Patel,
Dont get nervous, First of all you have to have your valid visa with you whenever you are entering or exiting the country (specially when you plan to come back). So yes, you need to have your valid work permit with you when you are going to come back from USA to Canada.
For the second thing, you have to inform CIC about your workpermit has been lost and they will probably issue a new one for you. I am not sure but it might take 6-8 weeks to get it from vegreville office.
