I have required to see FOSS note and had submitted application forms along with my husband´s authorization.
I didn´t get the note, instead, i got this letter:

I did try to contact the "undersigned" lady, but she never replied me.
I don´t understand this letter, does it mean I´m not allowed to see the FOSS note of our spousal sponsoring case and what´s the reason?

(in reply to: Process of requiring FOSS note) You sent your Privacy Request to the wrong office!
So now they have re-directed your request.
It goes to St. Clair CIC aka Toronto Central CIC because the file is in the GTA some where.
Then they will decide what information that they can exclude from your request and what to give you.
It is better to do an Access to Information.

(in reply to: Process of requiring FOSS note) thx Roy, another question
weird though, i did check the system, and it did say our file was in the scarborough CIC... I did send the request form to scarborough CIC.....
if our case is being picked up by some officer, is it possible that we cannot get the FOSS note(at least not all of them) now?
