I am a Canadian citizen since 1983. I moved back to Canada July´08. I have been living with my common law spouse & her 2 children since 2007.
My spouse was able to get a job in canada, while I started my business Sept ´08.My spouse is American. In the application form, could we use joint income? I have only started my business & obviously the figures aren´t big.Would I get turned down because of my financial situation?
My spouse is working full time.
2.) Does my spouse need to submit medical & police clearance prior to submission of application or after?
3.) The application is asking me the exact date when I got my citizenship but I really do not recall anymore. I know I cannot leave the anything blank in the application form, right?
