I´m a Canadian citizen. My ex-husband and my daughter live in Russia, and they are neither citizens nor permanent residents of Canada. My daughter is 11 years old.
I want to sponsor my daughter. I´m going to file a sponsorship application. After the approval of the sponsorship, she has to apply for permanent residence in the Canadian Embassy in Russia. In as much as she´s 11 years old, who should sign the application form? And is there anything my ex-husband should do, like filling an application form which shows that he allows my daughter to come to Canada, or whatever?
Should my daughter apply for permanent residence in Russia, or can I fill the application form for her and send somewhere in Canada?
