  To All

There are currently not one CIC Legacy Officer at any port of entry (POE) land crossings from B.C. to the USA.

The CBSA Officers get more training in self defense and weapons training then on the Immigration Act. There is no Legacy Immigration Officers now working at B.C. Border Crossings teaching new CBSA Officers what is required for TRV´s, TRP´s, WP, Rehabilitation etc. etc. CBSA is not training any CBSA staff at these ports of entries on the various Immigration Act and Regulations.

It is not uncommon for Immigration to have the new employee work for a few years before they are even sent for their first training session.

Without legacy Immigration officers doing training or are on shift as a resource person Authorized Immigration Representatives are branching out to protect their clients rights who may enter Canada at a POE where they are not located.

CSIC Immigration Consultants can do everything a Lawyer does accept go to Federal Court.

CSIC Members can practice in all provinces because they are Federally Regulated while Lawyers are Regulated only by their particular province.

Due to the creation of CBSA and their lack of training of POE Officers in the IRPA & IRPR I have started developing a network of Authorized Representatives that can serve my clients in case of disputes.

Be very careful when entering B.C. or for that fact any other land POE because if your papers are not totally in order you could face serious problems. Without your representative handy you would be on your own.

If you retain someone that is not readily available and you choose to enter Canada at a POE not close to your representative due to the lack of CIC Officers or experience officers you could face difficulties because they are not trained in the act and regulations.
