Subject: Deportation Process
Without having to go into a 3 year back story, I am curious about the deportation process for someone who is in Canada, going back to Germany.

When he turns himself in, he will have no money, so how does that work for the cost of the flight home?

Will he be detained or allowed to go until removal?

How long roughly will the process take from the time he turns himself in to the time his flight goes? (he has all forms of needed ID to confirm his identity, however his German passport is expired.)

What happens to him when he get to Germany? Will he be detained there for any reason or just be allowed to go?

He has a 100% clean record in Germany and Canada (minus the illegal overstay)

Will he be allowed to take any of his personal belongings back? (carry on bag/luggage etc)

I am not interested in debates or arguing the situation, as the back story is far too long and I do not wish to have to justify anything to anyone and I see often here over the years that happens. I am just asking for any information and straight facts to these questions.

If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

you lecture everyone and then you are impatient for a response after your thread is only 4 hours old?

you might have to wait for a little while longer. I have been told I need a life by a fellow forum member.

I have only had the chance to stumble on this site from time to time over the years and I am unsure how "active" it is.

I didn´t realize I was lecturing. I only didn´t want to deal with rude comments that do not help or answer the questions I am hoping for answers for. So much for that eh? :)

Well Canadian since your not German why do you not foot the bill for his/her flight home?

German person has no money but is serving by eating at _____?
German person has no money but is serving sleeping at ______?

Do I have to go one?

Buy a ticket for German Person and go to CBSA and hand in the ticket but give them one week to transfer the file to the airport. They will execute the warrant and release him on T´s & C´s.

Tell German to have a nice flight. Don´t buy a ticket and stick the Canadian Taxpayer with removal costs and just maybe the Canadian government will give German Person some free meals and a place to sleep.

I have been footing the bill to support 3 people on one income for 3 years. I can no longer afford my place, let alone the cost for a flight. Money has been the problem from day one. It is not an option. It is time for me to move on.

"German person has no money but is serving by eating at _____?
German person has no money but is serving sleeping at ______?"

Not sure what you mean by the above?

Tīs & Cīs ??

Any chance anyone can direct me to where I could get answers for my q´s? Would be greatly appreciated.

Dude your questions require real experience and there is no one with that around here! Roy and Sharon are mere quacks... one trying to make a buck and the other trying to snag a buck into privacy. Anyways... If all fails, your friend will most likely be detained by the CIC and put on a plane back to Germany. If he has proof of funds to buy his way back, he may be allowed to walk the streets till he leaves, voluntarily.

Thank you nice guy, Thats at least given me an idea. Any chance you know how long he would be detained for? How long the process would be from the time he walks in to the time his flight leaves? Days? Weeks?

Again, Thank you.
