  DESPERATE

I´ve got a call from an agent on Friday who claimed a Chinese person who I got released from detention was detained over a PPT issue last Friday. That client never came back to see me. My task was completed. No one called me directly nor was I ever retained to assist in this matter. Only the passport had to be surrendered.

Now your friend was released and knew he had one foot on the plane and you never called his previous counsel for advice????

The reasons for his detention would have been reviewed on Monday and anonymous 186.9.246 suggested I could help but you never called desperate. Any experienced authorized representative could of been a buffer between your friend and CBSA staff and explained away his reason for perceived non cooperation.

Sometimes the DIY does not make sense.

Let him go home and sponsor him back as a spouse.

When one has no right to remain in Canada and most of the CBSA Officers are on a 3 month contract sometimes they become tooooooo aggressive.

It looks clearly you should have him apply for an ARC authorization to return and say sorry for what they perceived he has done wrong.

You may not like that but it is the best........
