Subject: HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT
Hi,

Just read how small the annual leave entitlement initially is only 10 days. My question is: Is this the normal or do most emplyers give you more than 10 days.

I know that this does not include statutory bank holidays etc.

Cheers

David.

Yes, 10 business days which translates into two weeks.
That is pretty standard.
Holidays, banked time, one day off per year of service maternity leaves, unpaid absence etc, it´s on top of the two weeks vacation time.

Bare in mind that most employees are entitled of two weeks vacation time or 10 business days after the completion of a full year of employment.

Again...up to the employer.

Cheers,

Bill
