Subject: visitors record...can you travel to US
My daughter got married in May to a Canadian and moved there. They started the paper work for her right away to have permanent residency. When they came to the US to visit, and then returned to Canada, they gave her a visitor´s record good for 6 months. Can she still visit us in the US during that six months and be able to get back in with no problems?
Thanks!

No (we as Canadian´s) want to keep her as a prisoner.

The issue is did they submit an In Canada application or an out of Canada application through Buffalo Regional Processing Centre? In Land she stays and out of Canada she comes and goes.

another question (in reply to: visitors record...can you travel to US)
If she would come to the US for a visit, what would/could happen? Thanks!

you need to confirm if they applied in land our outland. Roy already answered your question.

what could happen... they could deny her entry into Canada.

inland/outland (in reply to: visitors record...can you travel to US)
Hi, they are doing it through a lawyer in Canada.......so I am assuming it is inland but could she send it to Buffalo? Our daughter really didn´t know where the lawyer sent it. Thanks for your time.

By the question "could she send it to Buffalo?" I meant Could the lawyer have sent it to Buffalo even though she is from Canada.
Thank you.

if it is an inland... I would not risk crossing the border and attempting to come back. The lawyer would have sent it to Missisauga or Vegreville - not Buffalo. The Canadian spouse must be approved first and then the file gets forwarded to Baffalo by the immigration department internal mail service.
