Subject: Medical Exam Procedure
I applied for a study permit to study in B.C. I recently recieved an application for a medical exam. It says they need do a blood test, and urine test, apart from the general exam. What are they looking for in the blood and urine test?

I just want to know what they are looking for.

Blood:
Tests for HIV, hepatitis B and C.

Urine:
glucose (for diabetes), red blood cells and protiens (for kidney diseases). and white blood cells (for bacterial infections).

General Exam: includes chest Xray for any lung lesions or infections.
