| Subject: can i appeal directly |

My case got rejected as i was sick and could not submit the police clearance and some last minute documentation. Otherwise my case is perfect. My conssultant says me to put in a fresh application, as appeals are not heard by CHC India.
Can I directly make an appeal to the CHC to open the case so that my case may proceed or is it mandatory to go through the consultant.

I would like to add some extra doubt which has crept into my mind whether a sickness excuse if though genuine shall make the CHC India to reject the appeal. But sickness is a genuine cause for which i can submit the documentation and the sickness is not chronic in nature.
I have told that CHC India never opens the case when it is closed. But appeal is generally made after the case is closed.

Sickness or not, if the requested documents are not there at time of decision, your file will be refused. Depending on your type of application, you may only be allowed to file a judicial review NOT appeal. But from the brief info you provided, YOU are out of luck. Better to re-apply.
