-Only four of ten skilled immigrants are attaching themselves to the Canadian workforce at levels that reflects their past work experience.
- 60% of occupations in Canada are regulated which means that you are not allowed to practice it without a license or certification from the Canadian regulatory authorities.
www.liveworkcanada.ca support faster transition to the Canadian workforce by providing the information needed to begin this planning.

If you go to the official web site of the credentialing (see below), you get all the information those people try to sell...I feel disgusted whenever I see decieving ways to drain the immigrants´ money and exploit their lack of information being new to the country..It is really amazing how the immigration private business is growing.."inventing" ANY way to rip off people...it is the business where no ethics or morals are present...

The link of credentials.gc.ca is very much appereciated. Unfortunately it doesn´t answer the questions: what will the licensing process for a secondary school teacher look like, how long it will take, will I be certified at all??? Real picture of what to expect in Canada regarding Professional Employment requirements stays unclear. I am afraid I cannot agree with you in terms of ethics and morals of immigration private businesses which obviously work fast towards providing potential immigrants with information they absolutely need to know in detail before coming to Canada. I am sure it´s more frustrating to come to Canada blindly as a physician and work as a dishwasher... for years.

Credential recognition isn´t the major cause of poor number of immigrant success, it is one but certainly not the major one.

Major one is more simple, there are too many fish in a little pond to fight for the food. Canada by no way can support the number of skilled immigrants they accept. The result is obvious. The locals will always get the priority. Ofcourse there are many who are trying to exploit the new immigrants by various ways.

The new system may change something? Lets see.

It also depends on your field..If you are in one of those intensely demanded firms, your success would be high..especially if you received the education/training in specific countries such US (most likely to be accredited or recognized and the entry will be easier than those coming from other countries). LUCK is also a major factor!!
