my family & i have filed an application for immigration to canada through a canadian firm in the phils. we received the file number from the canadian gov´t last nov 2008. is it true that file numbers are expiring after a year? if so, what happens then to our application?

(in reply to: file numbers) well according to me I never heard of that because some files take a longer time to process because of the different catagories.. Do check with CIC for accurate info.. What stream did you apply under and did u get any letter or info from CIC regarding the expiry date thing..
