Greetings,
My boyfriend is Canadian living in Vancouver, B.C. I´m Indonesian currently living in Surabaya, Indonesia.
I am planning to come to Canada and live with him so maybe then we start processing my permanent residence application.
Or I might just try on the Skilled Worker application if it is possible and easier.
But there is one problem, I am ill. I have been detected with HCV positive (hepatitis c).
Will it affect my immigration application?

2 different types of applications with 2 different health requirements.
coming to Canada to live with him is not really something that immigration will allow you to do under any circumstances.
he cannot sponsor you unless you have been common law for 1 year or married. do not even contemplate conjugal - there is no likely impediment to marriage so you are wasting your money.
skilled worker = take the online test to see if you qualify.

Firstly, I did the online test and I knew that I qualify for the skilled worker. I also knew about the the 1 year common-law / married.
What I wanted to know is if my illness is going to affect my application in any ways.
I mean, even if I do qualify for skilled worker and we have been living together for over one year, but if my illness voids and annuls all that.. wouldnt it be useless to even send in my application..

there is more latitude in terms of medical issues in a sponsorship application.

Please note that the immigration authorities are very strict on medical issues.. and if you are an extreme case, then surely you will be rejected... but most importantly search for designated medical practitioners for your region on the website and vsisit the doctor first for evaluation for immigration check up. and then decide. and no chance for sponsor.
