Hello there, can I change my visit visa to working one while in Canada without leaving Canada?

I was told by a lawyer that it is possible and there is two way to do so. First is to submit working visa at corresponding Canadian consulate and wait for the interview. For this method, obviously, you need to leave the country when you turn comes. Another downside of this method is that you are required to have employer as your sponsor when you file for application. So I don´t think this is what you looking for. Second method is to apply under skill worker class. This one doesn´t require you to have sponsor. As long as you can prove that you are fit in this category, you are good. When the time comes for interview, you don´t need to fly back to corresponding canadain consulate. It can be done at buffalo. Having said that, to be honest with you, I´m kind of skeptical on the second method. Because it is too good to be true. But anyway, I´m planning to discuss this matter with that lawyer once again for myself. I´ll tell you more after that.

The simple answer to your question is no.
You need to apply from outside of Canada.
