Subject: Visitor Visa for Parents (Roy/ sharon, plz help)
  Hello,

My parents want to visit me and my wife from India as tourist´s. I was in Canada for about 3 months last year and my wife landed as immigrant with me in December 2008. I earned about $10,000 out of commission with some company in those 3 months. But from the last couple of months we are doing good and are employed with respectable companies. I am the only child of my parents and suffered a seizure back in February. We just disclosed about it to our parents and now they are worried and want to see us ASAP. Do we qualify to call our parents as tourist´s?

Roy/ Sharon, Please advise us.

Prompt reply will be highly appreciated.

The main focus is do they have a reason to return to India and have they traveled abroad before?

Hi,

Talking about the focus if they return back or not...
Well my Dad is a retired Senior Govt. Officer and Mom is a housewife and I kind of Forcibly got their passports made as they was like that what they will do after coming here as we will be busy with our working schedule. But now after hearing about my medical problem they are eager to comedown and visit and see if we are doing OK...can we show the embassy my medical records as a proof why they want to visit us and about going back, they have a big house their and entire friend circle and relatives are there aswell.
