Subject: Student Visa - question |

Hi, I am going to Canada in September on a student visa. I have received the letter of acceptance from the Commission here in London, but since being approved, I have had to change my passport. Do I need to notify them of my new passport number, or when I land in Canada will my records show that my new passport is linked to the old one?
I´m not sure if anyone can answer this for me, but it seemed worth a try before I write to the Commission, as I think it may take a long time for a reply from them!
Many thanks, Karen

(in reply to: Student Visa - question) Carry both the passports with you. I dont know ur nationality, but most countries return the old passport with the new passport. The old old one will bear a cancellation stamp.
There shouldn´t be any problem for entry.
What course are you admitted into? which university?
