| Subject: Attestation of Documents |
I heard from one of my friend that for Federal Skilled Workers Category I will be ask by CIC to provided all documents (Birth Certificate, Educational Certificate, Employment Certificate etc.) attested. Is it really required? If so then what sort of attestation required for mentioned documents?

I believe we use the word notorized. Someone needs to validate the copies of our legal documents so in Canada we use lawyers or Notary Publics to do so.

Sharon, Thanks for your reply. With your reply I assume that attestation is required on Copies of documents not on original? While I am on a work permit in Saudi Arabia do I need to get my copies of documents attested from Saudi or from my native country Pakistan?

See the cic guideline for Saudiarab...for example British guideline and Pakistani guide do not require same docmunets/pics. Depends on your residency.
