I am in USA working on H1B visa. I want to know what is the procedure to apply from USA for Canada PR. What is the application fee and time frame requried for this. What If I have to leave the USA to India even after applying the Canada PR.
Is there any time limit (no of days) I should stay in the USA to let the file come in processing.
Please guide and give me good resource to aply from USA for Canada PR before I have to leave USA as due to recession my employre could send me back to India

U R referring to regulation 11 as to where you can submit a Permanent Resident application.
The key is that you have to have been admitted legally for one year and YOU MUST RESIDE there to use Buffalo RPC. Read carefully 11 (1) (a)

11. (1) An application for a permanent resident visa ? other than an application for a permanent resident visa made under Part 8 ? must be made to the immigration office that serves
(a) the country where the applicant is residing, if the applicant has been lawfully admitted to that country for a period of at least one year; or
(b) the applicant´s country of nationality or, if the applicant is stateless, their country of habitual residence other than a country in which they are residing without having been lawfully admitted.
