| Subject: Please advice -single rentry visa |

HI, I would like to ask and need your advice Please,the first question,If I have a single entry visa to Canada a person can leave/enter Canada (many times? or only once?) from USA without any problem? I just want to make sure.
the rule and policy in Immigration Canada and the second question, If I have a single entry Canada visa, can I apply for permit exit border to USA and how long could stay there? its only a day? an hours? then I can come back to Canada again?
Looking forward for immediate response.

Single entry means single entry. So no, you can´t go to the US and return to Canada.
You can´t go to the US and return to Canada unless you have a second entry visa into Canada, or risk being denied return.

This is from CIC website:
You can visit the United States or Saint-Pierre et Miquelon and return to Canada without getting a new visa, as long as you:
* return within the initial period authorized by the immigration officer or
* have a valid visitor record, work permit, study permit, or a temporary resident permit (authorizing re-entry) and return within the initial period authorized by the officer.

Any single entry Visitor Visa to Canada has always been considered for both countries while the US does not allow such freedom of movement.
You will be asked to show upon your return to Canada from the US funds available for your stay and a means to return home to your country.
