Hope all well with you, we are all doing well.
I would like to let you know that I have received my Canada PR status for my family and hopefully will be landing soon.
I need the following information from you according to your personal experience, so that I can have an idea how to go about things. It will be nice if you could let me know at the earliest.
1. Which city or province/territory is good for new skilled immigrants to start settling fast- Occupational Therapist/Psychologist
2. What are the things we can send by cargo followed by landing? Is it worth sending Household, electronic, TV, Oven, other items to save money or buying there is cheaper?
3. Is it good to bring winter/woolen clothes from here or buying there is better?
4. What about Indian food items and their expenses?
5. How much is the approximate rent for single bed room? Does it include furniture, TV, GAS, ELECTRIC, WATER?
6. I do not have a driving license till date. Is it advantage to get a International Driving License before I land in Canada? Or is it good to start there learning driving? I have undergone 20 hours of driving lessons so far. How much is the approximate cost for learning driving?
7. various assistance ( financial/welfare)schemes for new skilled immigrants
8. Is it possible to arrange a temporary job before landing? Are there any job websites for this purpose?
9. How much minimum money we need to carry for a family of 3 so that we can manage for 3 months with basic living?
10. Can you please arrange for temporary accommodation (family of 3) for 2 weeks ?before we search and get a house for rent?

u should just check out the CIC website..there are many helpful links and info
get ur license..or at least finish learning how to drive..
bring lot of clothes..
all information about ur questions will be found on the CIC website really
