hi all i got few questions please
1) if i recieve my immigrant visa in few weeks...what´s next? what do i need to show as proof of funds when i land? personal bank statement or is an affidavit of support from a canadian citizen enough? considering that i will reside at his place for the first few months...
2) having an expired US driver´s license, will it help in getting a driver´s license in canada or will i have to do things all over again?
3)having applied through quebec, will i have to stay for a certain peiod of time in quebec before moving somewhere else...any restrictions?
4) how is the job market in general...and around Ottawa? is it really too bad now? i saw comments on immigrants having hard time getting jobs...is it also because of the language factor? education? i have experience in restaurants..bars..hotels...marketing degree..will all of this help?
