Subject: just curious....
i have a choice to apply through the skilled worker (Arranged Employment option) right now or wait for another 3 months before applying through the PNP which will also cost me some money.

Just wondering, all other things being equal, is PNP route significantly faster than arranged employment skilled worker application?

Is the PNP route really worth the wait and expenses or FSW (Arranged Empl route) is almost equally fast?

Please, I need your opinion.

S.

Arranged Employment takes processing times as well. Unless your occupation is on the NOC 38 list do not go there.

PNP requires a visit to the province of concern do not forget that.

AEO (in reply to: just curious....)
It was my understanding that you can still qualify for AE under FSW class if the occupation is a high skill level. Is that not correct? (NOC class "0","A", and "B").

With higher then usual unemployment do you really think that HRSDC will not review any and all arranged employment offers with a fine tooth comb?

You claim you have an option to do a PNP then why not go that route?

HRSDC (in reply to: just curious....)
Just to clarify, I didn´t post the original statment. I just so happened to be in a LMO exempt field. So I do not need HRSDC to look over my AEO. I am currently working on a two year work permit, did not need a LMO to get here, nor will I need one for my FSW AEO application. Just had a simple question of whether or not an FSW AEO application without the PNP will still qualify?

I posted the original message. To clarify my situation a bit further, my AE is not a new employment, I have been with my Canadian employer for 8 mths, and its a full time , permanent employment in NOC Class A.
