Subject: Can my Dad who is a PR of the USA live in Canada |
Hi, I was thinking of getting my dad over to live with me here. He is a Permanent Resident of the US. Would I have to go through any processes to have him live here?

(in reply to: Can my Dad who is a PR of the USA live in Canada) Very simple.
He can enter into Canada as a visitor without any visa as a US Green card holder, and I believe can stay upto 6 months at a time. You also can sponsor him if he wants to live permanantly and qualify to sponsor.
Just consider his health insurance, you have to purchase pvt. health insurance for him.
