He will be the bank employee who knows how money you have in your account..but once he crosses the line and spreads this info, the law will protect you.

what he is doing is highly inappropriate. I am not sure what the best solution is but I am hoping Roy may have a suggestion. I would be inclined to report him somehow.

Drak

When one complains about something they need to be able to prove a wrong doing.

This guy works for the government. Which one Provincial, Municipal or Federal? If Federal which department?

Now he is a "nice guy" and worse he is your neighbor who may be living next to you for a considerable amount of time.

My question to you is "How did he know about your application?" What type of application?

No one would need to tap into an immigration file to know your name or date of birth. All they would have to do is go through your garbage since they live next door.

My suggestion go to best buy and pick up a digital recorder and record him the next time your having one of your friendly chats. When you find out where he works send it in to his superior.

If he does not work for Immigration or CBSA there is no way for him to have access to Foss so protect your garbage and stop talking to him, nice guy or not.

hello... you should always protect identity information - especially in the garbage. there is often enough stuff in there over the course of a month to create a full profile and ID.

obviously, none of you have lived the nightmare of someone stealing your ID and trying to fix the mess afterwards. You do it once, or you see it happen once to a friend and you will immediately go and buy yourself a shredder.

You don´t need cold wars or the CIA to make you nervous about Identities and documents. Just need a crook down the street that wants to get into your bank account.
