Subject: PR card not received after 40 days, is it normal?

Hi, it´s been more than 40 days since I landed in Canada, but I haven´t received my PR card. Is it normal? Do I need to contact CIC for the matter?

Usually processing time is 4-6 weeks, so, you need not worry. In case, there is something wrong you will receive a letter.
