Hi All,
I submitted my PR application for Federal Skilled Workers in July 2008. I applied as Mehcanical Enginner. Application sent to Vienna. In November 2008, the list of 38 occupations were published, and my occupation is not listed there. As this new rule affects all the applications since February 27, 2008, my application will be denied.
My question is:
- will all the applications submitted after February 27th, 2008 and those whose occupation is not on the list "of 38" be reviewed/denied within one year?
- if i get positive Arranged Employment, can i add it to existing application and save it from being denied, or am i better off waiting to have my existing application denied, and then resubmit with positive AE.
Thanks,

(in reply to: Arranged employment) In both cases it will be denied and you will have to submit new application with your arranged employment .

Arranged Employment (in reply to: Arranged employment) Thanks for the reply.
I strongly believe that i will be denied in the next two-three months. Some of the cases i know (from reading thru forums) have already been denied, and they have similar timelines.
Should i look for AE from now, or should i wait to see what comes with existing application? Is AE tied with the PR application (does HRDSC ask you if you have exisitng PR application and what is the B- file number)? I just don´t know if i should wait and see what happens with existing application, or should i save time and look for AE while the existing application is being reviewed?
THanks,

Yes it will be denied (in reply to: Arranged employment) Hi Chris,
My name is Mini and I work for a reputable immigration consultncy in Vancouver and I Volnteer to help people from all over the world through forums in immigration matters.
Well after reading your note, I would suggest that you withdraw your application before it gets rejected, because if it gets rejected you will have to be more careful next time, but if you withdraw you would not have to state on your next application that your permanent resident visa application was refused before. Well I mean its not a good first impresssion.
Secondly, if you withdraw you can start preparing a fresh and change any information, but if you let them review your file, you will not be able to change whatever you provided wight noe as it will get recorded in the CAIPS notes.
Then if you can get AEO gud for you, if not find out other ways to applying say you are a mechanical engineer, right? Do you have any other work experience, can you show some other work experience? Are you married, if yes what does your wife do?
I can advise you free on these questions, send me your updated detailed CV ( and your spouse´s if applicable) and we can see what is possible for you. I do not charge for advising, only if I have to make a document for you say your template experience letter or if you want me to make your file, will I charge a small fee, everything lese, is free you can ask as many questions.
