| Subject: Transfer to another CIC office? |

Hi, I´ve read from other forum that it is possible to transfer to another CIC office which has a shorter processing time. Is this true?
This guy was asking to transfer from Singapore office to Buffalo office which is much much faster. And someone replied that the transfer process only takes 6-8 weeks. Buffalo office´s processing time is aroung 12 months, while Singapore is around 55 months. That´s a lot of difference.
Can anybody confirm this? Thanks

They used to transfer decades ago but no more. Read regulation 11 which allows you very limited places you may select based on your personal circumstances.
